1992 Amigo Playing in the Snow
I was not initially planning on posting this video but decided why not. After all, I started this channel to post all my car related nonsense. This is definitely nonsense. This 1992 Amigo was a lot of fun in the snow but it is easy to see that it would struggle in serious off road circumstances.

How To - 2015 Chevy Malibu Battery Replacement
Переглядів 3,4 тис.4 місяці тому
Ok, so this car went into limp mode and threw some fuel pressure codes. A Google search later, it seems it could be this sensor, the high pressure fuel pump, or simply low voltage from an old battery. This is the PRICY option and there are so many more wires than a usual battery swap. Also, to note, BE SURE TO DISCHARGE THE BATTERY. Ground your cables when the battery is out and make sure to fo...

How To - 2015 Chevy Malibu Wheel Hub

      The shifter cables? These cars have bars bolted to the shift shaft and shifter. If yours are rusted and corroded, you might end up needing a torch to remove them by heating them very hot.

    I saw the sixth bolt bracket of the manifold make it like the 2010Toyota carry manifold which is no bottom sixth bolt hard plastic bracket,this way easy to take the manifold out and put back in, And you can put back the sixth bolt plastic bracket back to its position, but you are going to need a rivet to connect the manifold with the sixth bolt bracket.

    ABS is for stopping but “Stabilitrac” is like ABS in reverse. All software using the same sensors. It was mandated by the Government as to prevent over compensation when running off the road onto a soft shoulder of a road. This is common when folks are texting and not watching the road. This why for decades, Mercedes and Porsche never put cups holders as this distraction could easily allow leaving the lane on the “Autobahn” while driving 165 MPH. Remember, at 60 MPH, you cover 100 yards in 2 seconds. Thanks kindly for sharing this experience. Only one additional measure is using an acid brush to place dielectric grease into sensors cavity and apply to the magnetic sender strip. ASE Master. Thanks for sharing!

    Not sure why 10 ft-lbs stripped those holes so bad unless your torque wrench is out of spec. The shop manual says 12nm (9 ft-lbs). Update: just upgraded my clutch, and I used a torque wrench set to 9 ft-lbs. It wasn't even as tight as I can easily do with one hand on a 1/4 in ratchet.

    • @RageFueled
      @RageFueled 5 місяців тому

      I do not know why either. I checked my torque wrenches and they seemed accurate. That said, they are cheapo torque wrenches. I have no idea what happened with this unless that clutch basket had been over torqued previously. It was a used engine and the clutch was slipped really bad. Maybe the previous owner thought tightening it down would help. Do not really know unfortunately.
